Cape Henlopen Sunrise

Cape Henlopen SP, DE

I was a little late getting out of the camper this particular morning and almost missed the sunrise. After hauling it down to the beach and setting up quickly this was the only image where I was able to catch the warm glow in the water.

Thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestion.

Ed: Love the color palette and the water movement especially. Nicely seen and captured. >=))>

Very, very sweet color palette indeed, very calming and dreamy. I find the rock a wee bit too dominant, so I might try playing with a crop from the left. However, this is a gorgeous capture as it is!

Ed, the glow in the water is a fine catch.  You've also got a good mix of warm sunrise and cool blues throughout.  The angle of the getty and what look to be pier posts adds a good sense of movement.

The way the water is drawn back toward the pilings and the way the pink creeps up onto the rocks is just gorgeous.  I'd be interested in a pano version

Ed, I love the light and the shutter speed here, but, like Roel I find the rocks too dominant being all on the left.
