In preparation for our trip to Central Kalahari Game Reserve in a couple of weeks, here is a fine Lion.
Just hope that the mining allowed by the green Botswanan government has not spoilt the park too much.

Those eyes really draw you in! I like the overall composition and the pose of the lion. I do wonder a couple of things: how would this look as a vertical and how it would look with the dark upper area of the BG cropped off? Thanks for sharing.

This is a really nice male, Ken. Image is crisp and clean. Aesthetically, my choice would be to move him a little more off center. There is also lots of green here, and maybe it is just my eyes being fooled by the surroundings, but it appears there is a slight greenish tint on the lion as well? Easy tweak, if so...

A fine look at this lion in nice clean setting, Ken. The eyes are quite dramatic in the larger view. I do wonder about a crop to move the lion off center and agree with the suggestion that taking out the dark trees in the background is an improvement.
