Balancing Act

Another image of the YHBB I had posted last week. This was taken a few second later when he's trying to keep his balance during a breeze.

840mm, 1/160s@F7.1, Shot from car window. Cropped slightly from top for composition.

Thanks for looking.

Great pose that this guy is giving you. The colors are wonderful. I am seeing a little noise in the green foliage. You didn't post what your ISO setting was. Also, I would experiment with de-saturating the green background  just a little as it competes a bit in my opinion. Well done.

A really great pose, Govind, and an excellent job.  I have to disagree a bit with Jerry.  While the bright green does compete a bit, it helps convey the spring feel in this image, and I like that.

Govind: fine capture with the bird forming a diagonal on its perch. My only minor nit would be to tone down the upper most portion of the bright background. Excellent otherwise. Richard

Hi,

The greens are on the edge of being too saturated, but reasonable for the seasonal atmosphere portrayed in the image.  The pose is ideal and you managed to fit him in the frame. Run a little noise suppression for the surrounding area and it should make a fine print.........................JIm

Very nice.  You had some soft light and definitely sharp where it needs to be.  These guys can be difficult to expose well in bright light.  I like the diagonal presentation

Fine capture.  The dynamic orientation of the bird gives the image a lot of energy.
