Cattle Tyrant

Here's one more from our Pantanal Brazil trip last summer. The Cattle Tyrant lives often around livestock or also wild animals such as Capybara. They are often approachable, this one walked up to me while I was lying on the ground photographing it.

Very different image Nate. I like the intimate feel from the low POV and OOF grasses giving a feel of being right there with the subject.

Wonderful angle on this shot! Beautiful color on this one, too.

I get the feeling that it is thinking about jumping on your back to look for some food -- a nice thing to happen when you are crawling around on the ground! ;^)

Great low angle shot, Nate. There were times in the Pantanal it was hard to compse a shot that didn't have a Cattle Tyrant in it.
