A wonderful capture, May ! Some fine details and a pose you've caught which gives a strong sense of the bird's descent.

Very beautiful exposure, light and techs May. Was this a crop at all? If so, was wondering if you had a touch more room on the left? If not, I think it still works, but I might prefer a little more space if you have it.

May: the pose of the bird against a background that really sets the bird off is excellent. A minor suggestion would be to burn the bird just a bit to see if more detail can be seen in the feathers, particularly in the neck and chest area. Beautiful otherwise. Richard

Wow, that's a great "up close and personal" BIF, with excellent details. On my monitor, the whites look perfect.
I find that when I have great detail like this, I tend to crop too tightly for a moving composition. If it were mine, I would leave a little more room on the left for the bird to fly into, even if I had to add some canvas using content-aware fill.

Excellent. Very nice exposure; very good detail. Nice colors. Good work getting that position into the frame.

A near-perfect exposure of this tern, May. The details in the whites are very good. Composition is a matter of personal taste, but I find myself wishing the tern had a little more room to fly into.

Excellent, May. Great wing position and superb detail in the bird. The difference in shades of blue between water and sky is really cool.

I agree with the comments that the image needs more room to the left of the bird. In photoshop I added a bit more canvas.
What do you think?
