Winter Wonderland

Bare trees in winter are not the most pleasing photographic subjects but laden with snow or in this case hoar frost, that changes things for sure. I was delighted to find this meadow full of such trees in northern Norway. The small version sucks.

What a beautiful winter landscape scene, and yes, the large version looks way better. Very nice comp with wonderful light and color. The pastel pink glow looks fantastic.

The nuances of pink glow in the large detailed view are very nice.  A well seen image that does well in delivering the feeling of how cold it must have been that morning.

Haha, I would not go as far as to say the small version sucks, it is still sweet, but it pales in comparison to the large version, that's for sure! A very nice scene with a very calming feeling to it. Love those gentle colors.

Oh, I love these pastels!  Beautiful scene - so peaceful and serene. Would make a beautiful large printed pano.

Really sweet light and a very peaceful scene. It works well because it makes me wish I was there experiencing the scene.

This is real nice, Kah Kit. The warmth works really well, but it still speaks softly to the cold quiet of winter. Nicely done.

Kah Kit,

A winter wonderland indeed!  Gorgeous winter landscape; the colors are wonderful and the semi-pano format is perfectly fitting.

No nits or suggestions.  I was going to comment on perhaps cropping a tad off the bottom, but a longer look at the large version reveals some detail and subtle shapes and shadows in the snow that keeps interest.

Love this!

What wonderful atmosphere this winter setting has. The blue snow has a rose tinge to it. I think that's what I like most, together with that great sky. Yes, the large version is a must in order to appreciate this image. Nice work. Can't think of a suggestion to make. Composition looks right on. Wish there was a bit more definition in those trees on the far mountain but I guess the lens didn't provide it.
