Mountain panorama

I tried various shots of this vast scene, but is lended itself to a panorama shot (180 degrees) to capture the fullness of it. I like the colours, be it a bit oversaturated (using velvia) and the semi-circular line around the outcrop in the FG. I further think, the depth of the scene with various shapes creates a lot of interest in this landscpae.

Looking carefully one can see the footpath in the shallow valley to the left of centre.
Comment and critique will be appreciated.

Techs:
Fujifilm X-T1 with XF 18-135mm, at 18mm
F13, exposure 1/220, ISO200, velvia mode

Appears to be a lovely scene. I have a hard time critiquing panos at this size. Would love to see it larger...

I enjoy how you pictured this scene, despite maybe not having the easiest light to work with. Composition wise, I would probably crop out the road to the left.

This looks like real nice country. I like the tones and the varied color. I think it needs a tad more foreground, as this feels a little tight. It does work as it is, though.

Willem,

The long pano works really well in showcasing the landscape.  I like the semi-circle shape you mention, as well as the long swail? or curve of the landscape on the right 3/4.  Not much you could have done, but the haze in the distance detracts somewhat, but overall the pano was a good choice in capturing this mountain landscape.

I'm with Preston on wishing there was more foreground/bottom.  It almost feels like the image was cropped too much, but I'm not sure if this is a cropped single image, or a mult-image stitch.

thanks for sharing,

Lon
