Quick visit to Emerald Bay during a work-related trip to Lake Tahoe. Was nice. cool

Taken with the Nikon 20/1.8 AF-S - that lens does produce great sun stars for sure, though I would like it to be a bit more flare-resistant.

There's nothin' like a Tahoe sunrise. The bit of flare doesn't bother me, and I like the warm light. I can almost feel the warm sun on a chilly morning, Sierra morning.

That's the only type of "selfies" that I approve of, haha! Very nice, and my only small nit would be the flares. Maybe next time take a second exposure with something blocking the sun (a finger is perfect for the job) to remove the flare, and combine that photo with you original. Very nice regardless though!

Beautiful sunrise shot, near Eagle Falls, right?  Love the man in the photo, taking it all in. And the sun star is wonderful.

Really nice composition, and wonderful color connections between the sun, the backpack and the vegetation to the right of person.  I chuckled a little at "work-related trip to Lake Tahoe"--it seems all my work related trips are to places like Dallas or Toronto.

This has a magazine cover feel to it (in a good way) and I can imagine it being a seller on a stock site, if you do that sort of thing.  North Face, Tahoe, or general travel appeal for sure!
