Excellent, Sandy.  the times I've been in Texas I've seen quite a few of these, but never in a position for a decent shot, and this one is great.  A lovely perch and a really intense pose.

Very nice Sandy. Love that intense eye, the DOF is perfect and great BG for this unique raptor.

A really nice capture, Sandy. I like the head down stance that usually means a launch; it adds a nice tension.  I also like the diagonal element of the perch and the way it opens the frame to the right allowing takeoff room.  The coloration and lines of the heads of these birds gives it a stylized, almost artificial feel.

I just made a comment to Ken about how clicking on the preview images opens a white-edged image that seems to me to have a nicer, more luminous image than the large one.

Nice image you have here Sandy. I like the forward leaning pose and the clean BG. Nice techs all around.
