Preston, I really appreciate the delicate subtlety in your image. Besides, the transition in the water from bottom to top is very appealing to me.

Maybe cropping a bit from the top might help me to concentrate on the interesting repetitive vertical pattern of the grasses.

Beautiful, intimate composition. I know this place well and your image resonates with me. This image is all about subtle details and would make a wonderful large print. Only suggestion would be to nudge up the exposure/open the shadows a bit in the bottom half of the image.

Beautiful shot Preston.  Excellent job of sharpening; it's so easy to over sharpen grass images - ya done good!

Beautiful work Preston. The idea of reeds across a surface that reflects the landscape is excellent. I think the idea could have been stronger expressed if the reeds were more sparse giving the reflection a greater prominence in the story. Excellent processing and color and sharpness throughout. I find the upper side of the image more interesting than the bottom area but cropping doesn't seem to be the answer.

I had another take on this this morning with a thought. It might be interesting to see this image just slightly underexposed and the colors just a little less saturated. It might add to the light mood that you're after. Just a thought.

A beauty, Preston, can't beat large format for the fine detail in this image.  Well done.

Love the flow of your composition, Preston, with the verticals of the grasses filling the frame with line, as well as the beautiful greens.  The reflection has a nice airy feel.  Beautiful, delicate image.
