Being a favorite subject, thought i will present one more darling.. This one is a orchard weaver,  by a plant atop a mound. That helped me to make this image at a slightly upward angle, and compose the web along with it.

This is a really nice, and different, pose and comp, Balan.  I think that the way you framed and focused the web really adds interest.

A great view here, Balan.  The spider is nicely sharp (might be worth some burning in on the hottest part of her legs), and those segments of web with the arcing strands angling across the frame look great, especially the two sharpest sections.  Another outstanding capture.

This is very nice, Balan. I like everything about it. The pattern on its back is beautiful. My favorite part is the web. I think an image of that web should be great too.

Hi Balan,

Pretty good view that you captured.  I agree with Mark about reducing the hottest of the highlights and that's all this image needs.  The spider is nice and sharp and I like the pose. Well donedevil...........................Jim

Thought I will upload a version with toned down highlights.

Beautiful, Balan.  The composition is outstanding-something I struggle with a lot on insect images.  I love the angle you got on the spider.devil

In comparing the two versions, I find that I prefer the stronger highlights, especially in the web.  I'm thinking that I'd keep the web as in the original post and tone down the forelegs some, but not as much as in the repost....yeah, I know...never satisfied....cool

Exceptional angle and sweet subject. A great eye to have visualized and then composed this.
Congrats on the WP!
