This is another rendition of the same peacock a the Los Angeles Arboretum that leisurely walked by in a nice sunny patch a few weeks back. This is about 40% of the original. I tried to crop out any OOF areas as much as possible. Canon 60D, f6.3, 1/320sec, iso 640, 0.3 exp bias, 400 mm (100-400 ISL), Handheld Thank you for looking and for your thoughts and suggestions.

Another fine, and in this case nicely abstract, look at this peacock's feathers, Ed.  This has wonderfully iridescent colors plus a fine pattern.  I like the color gradation bottom to top.  There's a strong "stained glass window" sense.

This makes a wonderful abstract with the vibrant colors and black, curving lines. The slightly soft look on my monitor doesn't bother me at all. Great image.

Amazing, Ed. Yes, it's a bit soft, but looks really good at this size. devil

Hi Ed,

Very nice and abstract with rich colors.  You could crop a little off the top to remove some of the softer areas and to increase the relative amount of blue at the bottom.  Either way, it is a pretty cool image to look at.........................Jim

Beautiful colors and patterns, it reminds me a bit of oriental (Japanese?) paintings or motifs in silk. The sharpness is fine, considering the crop and that it is handheld, and in any even it works well if one sees the image as art.
