Another from a recent trip to Central Utah.  Hopefully I won't bore you guys with images from this place.  It was an amazing morning of diffused light that lasted for a couple of hours.

Some more god rays and very nice horizon. Nice to see color! Since you went color for this one, I would add a bit more saturation....

I like the nicely balanced comp, Gary. The light rays again make the image unique. I also like being able to see and study the details in this amazing landscape, this time in color.

The landscape looks very inhospitable, but very beautiful at the same time, Gary. The details really shine in the large version as do the crepuscular rays along the horizon. Where exactly in central Utah is this?

This is excellent, Gary. Textures and shapes in the land present beautifully with the soft, diffused light. I like the muted color palette/contrast as rendered but I suspect this image would work equally well with a bit more saturation and a boost in mid-tone contrast. Perhaps worth some experimenting... Only other thought would be to perhaps to do some creative dodge/burn. e.g. further accentuate the light on those buttes in the upper right.

Gary, What a fantastic image this is. Great composition showing this area off. The light, color and details all look perfect to me. Excellent work capturing this with these conditions.

Beautiful landscape and image. My first thought was to boost the contrast a bit but it works well as presented. Cool sky for a beautifully tortured landscape. Where in Idaho is this???? sad

Interesting perspective and I like how the light rays add to the image.  Looks similar to the terrain outside of Big Water UT and these places can really be a challenge to portray, way to go.

Gary, having been to southern Utah a number of times, I never tire of scenes like this.  The low key exposure works well to enhance the mood, and the sun rays up top do well to balance the comp.  Well done devil

Wonderful use of diagonals Gary.  Light rays add to an already fantastic scape of land and light.

There is something organic about the large foreground formation that I find fascinating. The soft light and the beautiful background really add so much to the overall beauty of ths scene.

A terrific photograph, Gary.

Who could get bored looking at shots like this? Just the right amount of sky with the landscape prominent and the sun's rays shooting down from the ULC.devil

Another wonderful view of this area, Gary.  The soft light really lets the shapes and textures dominate.  Love the crepuscular rays in the upper left and how they balance well with the heavy darkness of the highest ridges on the right.
