I like the perch and the grasshopper. Processed using Lightroom CC (2015) and Photoshop CC (2015.5) along with Light Craft's LightZone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Great sharpness and details. Background makes the subject stand out really well. The prey in its mouth really adds to the context of the picture. Good composition.

Very nice shot Jerry. You have detail in all the right places. Nicely composed. Beautiful background. Fire going to make any suggestions at all I might trim the highlights by half stop on the perch.

Killer perch and an awesome prey item here Jerry, I would try to tone down the highlights on the perch some.  devil

Nice image Jerry. I like the curved and fresh mullein stalk, the meal is also a nice bonus. Good work!

Nicely done Jerry. Pose, bird, perch & bug all work to make this a solid image. I agree with toning down the perch a little.

Nice catch with the grass hopper in its beak.  Nice details, pose and the bits of yellow add to the overall image.  Thanks for sharing.

Excellent image of this common species, Jerry. I like everything about it - the pose, lighting, perch and the cricket is a big bonus. The perch does draw attention to itself, though, so toning it down will help.

Nice job, Jerry.  The Mullein is nice and sharp as is the bird and grasshopper.  Excellent.
