Old 7th Street Market

This is the old 7th Street Wholesale Produce Market in downtown LA. This is a classic view of the old market that looks pretty much the same as it has for decades. Apparently there is a plan to phase out this old marketplace and to replace it with new fabric shops. This photo was taken by my Samsung Galaxy 3 cell phone as the sun started coming up on a cloudy day. Thanks for looking and for any thoughts you want to share.

Beautiful details and colors in the large image. I might apply a little perspective correction and a slight CCW rotation.

Ed, I like the emphasis on the many, repeated hues in the foreground fruit and how that transitions to the repeated shape of the building heading into the distance.

Nicely done, Ed. I like the lines and all the colors. The dynamic range and DOF is quite good for phone snap.

Ed,
Like the leading lines, perspective and color.  Not too far from my home.  You have convinced me to take a trip down there.
