Male Northern Harrier

This is from the same fly through that I posted an image from in early July.  I liked the clouds in this image and the sense of space they provided, so I deliberately kept the Harrier fairly small in the frame, but hopefully large enough to show detail in the larger image.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600mm, hand held, f/7.1, 1/3200, iso 800, manual exposure.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 16 MP before resizing.  Taken at 7:45 PM on June 30th.

Your comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks,

Detail looks good to me, Dennis. The clouds add interest to the photo. I might have tried to pump them up a bit to add a little more to the blue sky. I like the position of the harrier against the blue with the clouds framing the bird.

I agree the clouds are really nice, Dennis. I do see plenty of detail in the harrier. Very nice.

Dennis: I really like the placement of the bird in the sky and there's plenty of detail in the small version. The muted background makes the bird stand out. Nicely done. Richard

I like the idea of giving this more space Dennis, but might not put it quite that far right unless the clouds were a bit more defined. Still works, just think it would work better.

Detail and wing position are very nice. The clouds increase the interest of the image as opposed to just boring blue sky. The light is very nice here.
