Really nice POV and techs look great on this Oystercatcher Matt. Might just be I'm holding my head crooked, but it might need a little CW rotation (just slightly). Nice work!

Very nice detail in the bird Matt, the colors really pop here. I think I would like to see a bit more of the surroundings along with the bird here.

Excellent shot of an oystercatcher.   I like that you got him walking, and the low angle.

A wonderful low angle and excellent pose and detail, Matt.  That bill positively leaps off the screen.

Beautiful feather detail, nice pose, and the white/gray water behind is the perfect BG.
Think Kurt is right about a slight CW rotation.
Excellent!

Love the low angle, active pose, vibrant color and surf background.  A keeper for sure!  Perhaps process to bring out more of the detail in the blacks?

Really nice detail in this. I like it as posted Matt but I agree with the leveling of the sand so the oystercatcher doesn't appear to be walking slightly downhill. (Maybe it was)  The low pov, the waves in the bg all make this a very cool image.

Thanks for all the nice comments, Kurt, Sandy and Steve, I was not sure how to best level this one, the surf line is perfectly level using the cropping grid in photoshop, but the beach runs slightly downhill.
