The lupines in Sugar Hill were pretty decent this year; unlike the last couple of years. This image was taken on the last morning of our trip this past June. After finishing up we stopped aat Polly's Pancake Parlor for some pancakes with maple syrup before heading home to MD.

This is a beautiful scene, Ed. A wonderfully quiet and peaceful mood comes when viewing this. That sky works perfect for this.
Kind of wishing I had one of those pancakes right now! cool

If you ever get the chance to head this way let me know and we'll do some shooting.

I second the beautiful scene Ed.  Wonderful near and far imagery. The colorful sky is icing on the cake.

Beautiful, Ed. Maybe not my favorite of the series but very nice nonetheless. Those lupines really pop against the vibrant greens in the larger version.

Beautiful field of flowers with a real nice sky. The comment about the pancakes is making me hungry!

Really nice Ed. The large detail view really gives me a sense of "being" there. Nice job on obscuring the pathway.devil

Really enjoy how the lupines are so stately composed amongst the green and the distant mountains and sky.  Beautifully done.
