Here's the last of this series captured shortly after the first rays of sunlight reached the mountains. Comments, suggestions and critiques appreciated.

This is sweet. I prefer this over II. I am enjoying the warm and cool tones moon reflection. A little slice of alpine heaven.

Love how the shore leads to the incredible light on the mountains. I prefer the first of the series for the mood, but this is also stunning. I have a little doubt about the rock cuts on the right but it is just a minor remark.

The first two in the series were drop dead gorgeous. This one is just excellent, Dave. enlightened  The light is sublime and I again like the moon element. Gives it that added interest and uniqueness. The exposure looks spot on to me, so nicely done. devil

Tough call between this one and II. I think I prefer the gentler contrast of II - but I also know that I may look at them again in a few days and have the opposite opinion....

Beautiful work Dave! I prefer this one over 2 as well. All three are wonderful shots. Nice work on this series!

Lovely light and great color, Dave. A fine Sierra scene. I am seeing a halo where the ridge line meets the sky, and that one dark rock that intrudes on the peak's reflection is a little distracting. Those a re minor nits--this is a nice image, and so are the others in the series.

Another beauty, Dave.  Love this series.  I'm not gonna pick a favorite cause they're all good.  There is a dust bunny just above the ridge line, a quarter of the way in from the left.

Dave, I think this is my favorite of your series from this glorious basin in the high Sierras. I like this one because the colors look so much more natural than the last one to my eye. The comp is just outstanding, with the rock, mirror image of the mountains, and moon enclosed by the curve of the grass and lake. If you weren't eaten by mosquitoes, this must have been a wonderful trip for you.
