This young moose was feeding on the greenery. It stopped to take a look at me. Nikon D4s, Sigma 150-600 lens at 1/800, f/9 and ISO 1400 on tripod. Slight crop on left to de-center the the moose. Richard

Nice one Richard!  I like the alert pose of the moose as well as the colors and detail in the body of the moose, not always easy to get with such a dark subject.  Thanks for sharing.

Nice environmental shot. A nice rack with velvet. Great colors.

The detail view is a must see. Nice handling of the darks and lights. The stance makes me wonder if he is a little upset and about to let you know he does not approve of your presence.

Thanks folks for the comments. Jim, the moose wasn't too concerned about me as I was quite a distance from it. He was more concerned with the iPhone shooter who was only about 20 feet away enlightened Richard

Hi Richard,

Nicely done...the velvet on the antlers adds nice interest. I'd almost prefer to see this one a bit wider to see even more of the great foliage and environment. Curious about the focal length this one was captured at (I know, "longer than iPhone!" - cryingenlightened).

Cheers...
