Here's a shot from the Pond at Elephant Head in Southern Arizona. I put some sugar water in this flower to attract hummers and it also attracted other birds like this male Hooded Oriole.

Makes a much better perch than the ones I photographed in Texas a couple of years ago, Nate. I like the lines in this composition and the alert look of the Oriole.

The long, thin flower works perfectly with the long, thin bird (from this angle).

Wonderful elements and detail. A thought... very slight cc rotation would change the bird's center of gravity and eliminate the feeling that the flower could bend and he could lose his balance. A great image regardless.
