Lovely pose and "tidbit" Sandy. I like your choice of the square crop for this. It works well. I've never seen one of these, always Black-necked. Sharp details and the raised foot always adds interest. Nice work!

I had to do a double take on this one Sandy. It is so much like our black-necked stilts here in California. Nice clean view and very nice work with the lighting and keeping all of the detail in the feathers.

Great pose, Sandy, and excellent detail in the plumage.  The upper part of the bg has a texture that my eyes find disturbing, particularly in the larger version.  A little extra blur up there would probably smooth it out.

Another beauty, Sandy. Very nice work on the whites and blacks. Nice separation of the bird from the background. The square crop works well.
