I watched this guy for almost 45 minutes...from carrying a potato chip bag away from other gulls to his glorious "find" of this already mostly dead fish. He did some funny and weird things before devouring it. I was within 10 feet of him the whole time! He fought of a few immature gulls and huge Tern, but his prize was all his!

Nice shot Lori. I like the bold stance the gull is taking in defense of his prize. The stare into the camera certainly emphasizes this.

Nice shot, Lori. I like the head-on angle of the gull in this one that conveys its attitude nicely. I think a little bit more room on the left might improve the composition as it feels a bit crowded on that side.

The low angle and look into the camera accenuates the gull's attitude, Lori. If you feel up to it, you can play around with the brightness and contrast in the image and make this even better. I alo noticed you did not post a larger version - you are allowed to add a 1200px version for better critique, if you have one.
