Savannah Sp. & Repost
by Dennis Plank
There were a lot of Savannah's at Ridgefield Monday. Usually the predominate sparrow there has been the Song Sparrow, but they seemed to be far outnumbered by the Savannahs this time. Some of them were quite cooperative and they were either all juveniles or have just finished molting recently because they were all in wonderfully immaculate plumage.
7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, bean bag on car window, f/7.1, 1/400, iso 640, aperture priority, pattern metering. Processed in LR5 & CS6. Cropped to 8.1 MP before resizing. Taken at 11:31 AM on October 10th.
