Way better for me without the tree. I also like the color rendition in this one over the previous post. This one looks more neutral, the other seems cyan to my eye. I do prefer the tighter comp of the previous, although this one still works nicely.

Bill, I'm enjoying this one alot. I think I prefer this comp over the other one and love the way the water looks here. The log was distracting in the tighter comp I felt but in this wider comp I think it works with or without it. Either way I like this one very much. Nice cloning job as well. cool

Beautiful and powerful falls, Bill.  I like this version w/o the tree and the wider shot.  You really had a nice trip up north and have presented some awesome images. I might have to take that trip someday.

Remarkable job of cloning. The flow of the water is uninterrupted despite the cloning. I, too, like this composition more despite that the tree was less of an issue here. The slightly cooler rendition gives the water color a more natural look. Great job. No nits from me.

I definitely prefer the latest version, without the tree branch. My eye can flow right down the waterfall with the water. Beautiful view of this falls, one of the few that I haven't seen a picture of from Iceland until this one. Love the power and force of all the water hitting the tall rock in the middle. I might consider cloning out the dead pine branches in the lower left corner.

Hi Bill,

The version without the tree works better for me.  I like how you captured the water--enough blur and blue colors to provide a lot of eye candy to the scene......................Jim

Without the tree for me. Perfect shutter speed. That little bit of rock right at the top of the image sort of catches my eye; could be cloned away.

Bill, my preference is for Maelstrom Too without the tree.  There still seems to be a few tiny evidences of tree at 3 and 4:30 from the rock to clone out though.

Great view of a beautiful waterfall. Shutter speed looks great, good white detail, and the blue water is great!
The tree is not as big of an issue as in the tighter view you posted previously, but I like this view without it too. If you are going to keep it cloned out, there are a number of areas from the cloning that look odd to my eye.

Oh wow,  this image portrays a COMPLETELY different scene than your previous image of just the falls.  Looking at the previous image I thought it was a much smaller set of falls, but the trees just it scales and (for me) make this image MUCH more powerful.  Lovely composition and processing.  I like it both ways, tree & no tree, with maybe a very slight preference to no tree.  Beautiful scene, Bill.
