Owls Head is a small mountain in the Adirondacks that offers amazing views after a climb of only about 0.6 miles. A couple of weeks ago, two of my grandchildren (pictured here) had a day off of school, so we headed up the mountain at sunrise to witness this scene. The fall leaves this year were surprisingly vivid despite a dry summer. (No need to boost saturation at all.)
