Fog in Autumn

Taken with Canon SX50, F5, 1/25, IS) 400.  Shot this last week. Today there is 3" of snow.  The temperature variations have gone from the 80s to the 20s and are on the rise again for next week.  This is a tree lined driveway into the Bryant Homestead in Cummington, MA.

Interested in your thoughts and critiques.  Thanks for looking.

A superb job handling the fog, Patricia.  The sun must have just been starting to come through and it made for a beautiful combination of brilliant trees with the softening of the fog.

Patricia, this has a wonderfully misty glow, with the golden leaves and the hints of trees and brightness inviting me into the distance.  A great job of capturing both fall colors and the beauty of fog.

A very beautiful image.  The fog seems to cradle the trees, which have such vivid colouring and delicate tones.  First rate composition and processing.

I like the depth of the image and the soft colors. The fog adds so much beauty. This is very painterly and peaceful.

No critiques! I love this shot, the fog lending a touch of mystery and mood juxtaposed with the bright leaves. I want to walk down the road and see what comes next. It looks very painterly, which also appeals to me. Lovely!

Looking through the WPs, I was drawn to this image over and over. Absolutely stunning! Perfect example of a Fall morning in New England, and why I'll never move to Florida!! Well deserved honor, Pat. Congratulations!!  I love this image.
