Looking Down

I took this several years ago, but I thought the tree roots made a nice sort of frame for all these leaves.  I could have saturated it more, but then it looks more like photo art.  So I decided to leave it mostly as it was, with just a little saturation.

I really like the flow that the roots provide in this image, Barbara.  Wonderful little details throughout keep the eye looking for more.  Well done.

A great mix of colors and textures, Barbara.  Tight "semi-abstracts" like this are hard and you've created an excellent comp.  I'll second Dennis's well done.

I find these subjects difficult to pull off, but you've done it here. Looks good!

The Y shape of the roots binds this into a neat composition, Barbara.  I especially love the feel of being there, the tree roots and the leaves right under your feet.  Nice work !
