Horses in Ladakh

In the Ladakh region of India, the primary pack animals one sees are usually donkeys. While rounding a bend, this small herd of horses appeared. I liked their setting against the cloud filled sky and the majestic mountains. I've placed it here as I'm sure the horses weren't wild. Olympus E-M1, 12-40 lens at 1/1250, f/8 and ISO 200. Richard

Looks like a rugged breed in a rugged landscape Richard. I really like your low perspective looking up slope. Nice work retaining the details without letting the bright light blow out the whites.

The horses match their environment; I like how it goes together. Interesting how the horses' colors blend into the rocks.
