When Light Comes

This was taken yesterday on the Italian Prealps when the Northern wind started to dry the air and to create bursts of light after the storm. I really appreciate any suggestions or comments on how to improve this image. Thank you.

It's beautiful, pastoral scene Mattia.  The road and plowed field in the foreground look great and the distant mountains invite me to go exploring.  You've also got lots of interesting detail in the sky.  A third exposure might have been good, to allow you to better hold the details in the brightest clouds and get better contrast in the crepuscular rays.  You may also be able to get more contrast in the sun's rays by burning and dodging through luminosity masks.  Because there's so much "hand of man" in this view, it belongs in the Man and Nature gallery.

Mattia, I agree with Mark's thoughts on this. It is a wonderful pastoral scene that you captured in very pretty conditions. Yes, it probably will be moved to the Man & Nature gallery because of the worked up fields and roads. A very pretty view this is.

This is the kind of scene that would make me stop and look until the Sun sinks behind the clounds.  The combination of crepuscular rays, high clouds, and the lines of the road and plow furrows all pull me in to find those low clouds at the base of the mountains.  Lovely capture.

Sweet light, love the rays the lovely pastoral land. I think the areas of burnt out highlights stand out a bit too much; it seems very in vogue these days to let such spots blow out more and blur to avoid the hard edges.
Will have to move it to Man and Nature.
