Nice shot of competing pollen gatherers. I like the detail on the insects. I might try a bit tighter crop on this to emphsize them.

I like this. It is well balanced, tack sharp where it counts, and puts the two insects into the context of their surrounds. The bee looks like an old girl as her wings are damaged, presumably through wear and tear. I would think that this will have been one of her last pollen-collecting trips.

It's a bug battle. Nice catch, Sandy. It's hard to tell for sure, but this looks like the "bug" is eating the bee. The dof is great and the colors all blend well.

I agree on the tighter crop. But nevertheless a nice combination. The vague flowers in the background provide context. The colours got together well. Nice find.
