Serenity

Basically a repost of my last image with the rock in the upper left removed. My wife suggested the name change and I liked it, so I thought I'd post it as a new image rather than tacking it into the flow on the earlier one.

5DIII, EF180 f/3.5L macro, tripod, f/16, 1/160, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, + 1 1/3 EV. Processed in LR5 & CS6. The only change from the last image was removing the rock and its reflection and an odd smudge in the ripple on the lower right. Taken at 10:25 AM under mostly cloudy skies.

I'd be interested in your views in comparison with the last image.

Thanks,

Dennis: This is much better IMO. I also like that you cloned the rock instead of merely cropping which would have also removed some of the grass reflections. 2+ thumbs up! >=))>

I love it Dennis, many interesting aspects and an overall feeling of.....serenity I guess!

I prefer this to the one with the rock, and I think it is extremely serene. I love the sharpness of the leaf.

Water surface absolutely calm, circles in it symbols of stability and security together with the motionless leaf: all is peace and serenity. I love this image Dannis.

Much better, Dennis. Cloning was the better choice.
