Reflections of Fall

In this image a shaded section of the falls is reflecting a sunlit maple on the other side of the river. A slow shutter speed was used to soften the water and blur the reflection.

Bond Falls is always interesting. My only concern here is the saturation. I think it could be pulled back, but still have the warm/cool color contrast that is so appealing. You might also consider toning down the brightness of the very light area below the second cascade. Otherwise, this looks nice, and I like the detail.

Steve,

I too really love this scene. It's pretty clear why this is so popular and so photographed.  I think you've captured and processed a beautiful rendition.  I have no nits or suggestions, love it as presented.  Thanks for sharing.

This is a great comp!  The s-curve leads my eye  back and forth through the frame and connects the diagonal corners of the frame.  I'm always a fan of warm cool color contrast and you have used that beautifully here.  Finally, there is a nice blend of texture and motion in the water.  Very nicely done!  devil

This is very appealing. Great lines and beautiful colors. Comp. works well but I've looked at it a couple of times and the framing looks just a little bit tight to me. I think I would prefer a slightly wider comp. In any event, this is very nice work.

I'm a sucker for these stream images with the gorgeous reflected light. The composition is very pleasing and you've done very well with the processing. Nice image :)

Steve, I really like the placement of the "Z" from corner to corner diagonally. Works as is for me just fine.
