Where Are Those Keys?

Black-capped Chickadee looking like it lost something.  I don't know of anything there it might have been looking at-perhaps a small insect.

7DII, Sigma 150-600 C @ 562 mm, Jobu Gimbal mounted to blind window, f/8, 1/2500, iso 800, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Cropped to 14.9 MP before resizing.  Due to the angle of the head there wasn't very much light in the eye, so I brightened it considerably to aid the presentation.  Hopefully, I didn't overdo it.  Taken at 9:50 AM on December 7th.

Comments and criticisms are appreciated.

Thanks,

Dennis, the details in this little one's feathers is great, as is the "what's down there" pose.  The eye looks fine to me and the reflected colors in the background are a great addition.

The larger image really shows off great detail. Love the pose of this little bugger. The colorful background is a bonus.

Nice detail in this Dennis. When I photograph them, they seem to look all over the place, so hard to say what caught his attention. :)

Like the pose, colors and composition.  I think the eye looks just fine.  I know it is challenging to get highlights in the eyes of these guys.  Thanks for sharing.

This one is a beauty, Dennis. Great detail, and the color saturation is excellent.
