One of the things I like about the Weekly Challenge is to trying find unusual images that qulaify. I just remembered this close up image of the shadow of a fly on the leaf of an Elephant Ear plant that I took in 2013, and I thought I'd post it for the challenge. I saved the image because I like the way the shadow seems to be tip-toeing, like a burglar or something. D600, 150 f2.8 macro, 1/360, f11, iso 400.

Scott, very creative thinking here and pushing the out of norm "shadow" idea. I like it, has a bit of mystery tied in with the actual shadow there too. Pull the veil back and it just might be Jeff Goldblum in his role as "The Fly"..... sad

This one is so cool in so many ways, Scott.  I love the shadow of the fly and then the structure of the leaf adds a lot of additional interest.  Very well seen and photographed.

This is just great, Scott. The fly does look like it's trying to sneak up on something, and all the lines in the leaf make it more interesting. Very fun and well done.

Let's see...this could be the old horror movie the fly, or it might be "the shadow".  A great take, that has me grinning, Scott.  Yes, it does look like the fly is standing up while sneaking around.
