Rose II

The same rose as before, but a closer look this time.  I also turned on the vanity lights and played with using an old incandescent bulb flashlight to modify the lighting.  This time I didn't have to play with it much to make the yellows match what I saw.  I didn't bother with a focus stack for this one.

5DII, EF180 f/3.5L macro, tripod and cable release, f/25, 2.0 sec, iso 100, aperture priority, pattern metering.  Processed in LR5 & CS6.  Full frame.  Taken at 1:55 PM on December 26th.

Comments and criticisms are appreciated.

Thanks,

Another beauty - I'm a sucker for yellow roses. Fine look at the inner leaves.
With this tight a view, every little adverse speck can be seen  cool and there are a few dark spots that could be cloned out (if i was nit-picking!).
Excellent work
Sandy

A little sharpening would help. The texture is dull, but other than that, I like this one better than the first.

Nicely done again, Dennis. What Phil sees as soft and dull texture, I see as a soft and creamy look, which is appealing.  I find the shadows on the right a bit strong, but no biggie.
