Taken with Canon SX50, F8, 1/2000, ISO 400, -0.3.  New Year's resolution - post a photo a day on NPN if at home  (didn't work out last year).  Comments, critiques or suggestions always appreciated.

Happy New Year to all.

Patricia, this is perfectly lovely! Just enough light and shadow to fill the frame with the pale yellow and purple edging to add depth and focus. One small nit—no ants! What is a peony without ants, who love peonies as much as we do? sad

This is beautiful, Patricia!  The DOF is just right to create a lovely softness in the petals of this Peony.

Hi Patricia, like this very much - a beautifully subtle image! Not sure if the image would be "better" with the purple area a tad lower but like it, as i said, very much as is!

Absolutely lovely.  Only subjective nit is small lavender squiggle in upper right corner.  Somehow I think the beautiful red lines would be brought out a skosh more without it.
