I was attracted to the interesting shape, the range of blues and the textures of this iceberg. Nikon D 750, 24-120 lens at f/11, 1/640 and Auto ISO at 250. C&C welcome.

Lovely array of blues. I like the little water path that "s" curves through the middle of the berg.

Richard,

That is quite the impressive iceberg - I'm wondering if it's just one, or several? (not that it matters.)  I too like the range of blues throughout; I think the color overall looks good to me.

I think you did well to compose this given the irregular shape and your proximity.  I don't know what you could have done differently, but somehow the main, tall 'berg seems to be begging for a vertical composition.  But even so, like I said I think you did well to compose this in a horizontal frame; there is at least enough room up top so that the vertical iceberg doesn't feel cramped.

I didn't really have any nits, although after viewing the large version, I did notice some haloing on the two smaller parts of the berg on the right.  I was also going to suggest adding a wee bit of contrast to the iceberg, which leads me to think you were trying to up the exposure a bit in the ice, which likely led to the small bits of haloing.  The main part of the berg looks great.

You have captured some great lines, color and texture in the ice.  I feel like in this case the clear blue skies enhance the mood of the image, but I would recommend lightening the sky in the upper right hand side of the frame.

Interesting image.  It's almost an abstract to me, because it's hard to tell just how big these things are.  If it weren't for those trees on the left, it would be even more so.  Love the depth of the blues in this, and good job of capturing the details in the ice.  Nice one.
