Well done Chris. Classic cracked mud.  I think the processing is spot on, although what I'm learning about b&w processing, there's a hundred different directions you could take this.

Taking a close look, I do think you might consider doing something with the very top row of tiles. A few coming in from the top are a bit brighter with less detail.  The patterns are great and broad enough that I'm there is a good compromise crop in there.  But that's really the only small nit/suggestion I have.

Wonderful patterns and the processing / conversion looks perfect to me.  Looks sharp throughout, which can often be a problem with type of image when you zoom in and not parallel to the ground plane.  Nicely done.

Love this one, Chris.  Probably under water now.

Chris, this is a great mud crack abstract! I love the arrangement of tiles in the frame, and I like the subtle light to dark gradient coming down from the top. No critique here.

This is an interesting subject, but I think you composition and processing makes the image.

Nicely done.  I like how there is so much depth in each tile.  It really does look 3D.  Bravo!
