We've had an exceptionally mild winter except for one nightsurprise when we had a very hard freeze that killed off a bunch of our flowers and left the garden looking pathetic. I took a scouting trip this morning and found absolutely nothing to shoot! So the grocery store to the rescue. Bought a nice bunch of tulips and started working them this afternoon. I liked how this leaf emerged from behind one of the blooms. All comments welcome.>=))>

The thumbnail does not do this justice, Bill.  The large image is wonderful.  No nits from me on this one.

Bill, I can’t imagine this is a tulip. Beautiful colors and light. The OOF part looks like a heart. Nice abstract.

We have had a mild winter too...;)  Only 10 inches of snow on the ground where many people in Utah have two to three feet on the ground!   frown

Sorry to hear about your hard freeze.  :(

I like this - nice amount of focus and really nice color.

It's beautiful as an abstract. The part in focus let's me know it's a plant. The colors tell me, well, it has colorful flowers. I never would have known it was a tulip; but that is not really important. The subject is "Emerging," and this nails it.devil
