Skeletons

I liked the contrast between the blue sky and water, and this stand of bleached out trees.  Over the years salt water has washed up into the tree line and created this stand of skeletons.

IMHO this needs to be seen large to get the full impact.  I like how the light sort of wraps around the trees.  Well seen and photographed.  Good color and details.  Thanks for sharing.

Jerry, you found a fine collection of trees (they look like they could be winter trees, but your description says otherwise).  They are very nicely lit and stand out beautifully against blues of the lake and sky.  One challenge in frame filling view of a collection (of anything) like this is keeping interest in the frame.  You've done that very well here.  I think that some burning-in of the short arcs of bright trunk that touch both edges might make a subtle improvement in keeping interest in the frame.
