In 2013, snow caught on the evergreens poking above the aspen groves in southwest Colorado. The colors in this area made a nice mosaic.

Nice mosaic, but I think it would be better if you toned the saturation down to a more realistic level.

Doug,
This is a stunner, and I was just out to Colorado this year, and this is how it looks. I know it is hard to believe from others that have not been out that way, but it is truly overwhelming just how stunning the color is in South Western Colorado in a good year.
The snow dusted evergreen really makes this image pop and breaks up the intense color, Absolutely wonderful Doug!!!

Oh, wow! I need to visit this gallery more often. The frosted trees interspersed among the layers of fall color really add to the impact of this image. Of course the vibrant color is very nice as well (and looks believable to my eye from what I have seen in SW CO).

What a great catch, Doug, snow on the evergreens against wonderful colors in the aspens. Love the mix of colors and shapes as well as how the evergreens angle across the frame.
