This Meadowlark was in some deep grass and mustard greens on a levee bank alongside the road at the Sacramento NWR. It kept stretching every now and then to see what was out there. Canon 5DIII, f8, 1/1600 sec, iso 400, 100-400 ISL with 1.4 TC at 450 mm. Handheld on car window bean bag, 80% of original.

Its been ages since I've seen a meadowlark. Nice natural environment and the meadowlark is in sharp focus. very nice image.
