This was taken mid January 2017 during a sun-break day free of winter rain and snow. The road was surprisingly good to the trailhead.
I chased the sunburst trying to find the best comp.

Ken, I think this is one of the finest images of Silver Falls that I have seen. The vantage point is different than most of the photos of this beautiful falls. Love everything especially the sky and the slow exposure.

This is really well done and a different, excellent look at this Falls.
Getting the sky as nice as the falls is almost impossible in a single frame.
Terrific work.

Beautiful capture of this falls. The greenery nicely frames the falls and an excellent sky to boot.

Wow, can't believe that is what mid winter looks like out there. Very lush. Love the delicate sky. Looks like the brush is growing up into the view, which I guess was unavoidable. The darkest foliage stalk on the right pulls my eye to that area, as it is much darker than the foliage around it, so I might try brightening a little or crop off. The falls should grab my eye and that was competing for some reason. A beauty of a capture.

Very nicely done, Ken.I do agree with Harry about the tree on the right edge. The processing looks very nice, indeed. I really like the color, and the sky. Print it!

Beautiful, Ken. I might be mistaken but looks to me that it has a slight counter clockwise rotation.

I like how you got the clouds in this, and the green moss on the rocks, along with a great exposure of the falls. Makes it feel like you just walked out of the woods and saw this great view. Well done.

A fine classic waterfall image. You had great light and the post processing is first rate. The brush on the right doesn't bother me because it doesn't stand out.

Very nice, Ken. I like the comp as is. The light is excellent for just the right amount of contrast and being able to include the attractive sky/clouds.

Sweet image, Ken. The comp with the arc of the terrain leading to the falls is terrific. Beautiful sky. The only small thing I can suggest would be to clone/burn the few bright leaves along the bottom of the frame. Really nice work.

Ken, I really like this image. The comp is great, and shutter speed looks good to me. This is making me excited for a trip out there in August for the solar eclipse!
My only critique is that the tops of some of the tree tops are darker than the area just below them. Blending sky and tree exposures can be very tricky, but this one is worth the time to get it perfect.

Beautiful view of the falls Ken. The sky color and character is great. I might suggest trimming just a small amount off the bottom and off the left side maybe?
