I really like the smile on his face!

Green Darner Headshot, Brighton, MI DM*
Nikon D300S, Nikon 200mm macro with an old Nikkor movie lens used as a diopter + extension, 1 second @ f20, ISO 200,
*Six images focus stack.

That is a nice portrait. Arms folded waiting for things to come. Nice soft and even light. I might have been tempted to make a much deeper stack, but this rather shallow stack surely emphasises the face. There are even tiny dewdrops on the very fine hairs on the top of its head. Nice catch, well executed.

Steve..another marvelous image from you. The color combinations within the frame works very well.

Steve, I am amazed at the fine detail seen in your Green Darner image but it is the symmetry and color of the dew drops that make your image special to me.  Very nice!

A spectacular catch here, Steve.  That dew drop on the leg is great and getting the eye facets to show up in the dew on the eyes is a special detail along with all of the great colors.
