This relatively unknown and remote spot can have some brutal spring winds.  I was fortunate to be there on a nice February weekend.

A beautiful display of orange sand.  Very fine textures and sand waves used to frame the plant in the center bottom of the image.  I like your approach.  Definitely looks like a fascinating spot to photograph.  Nicely composed image.

Gotta love the coral colored sand, Doug. The comp works nicely with the humped view of the sand and drifting bush. The February no wind event allowed the bush to remain stable enough and a nice touch to the scene as well.

The colors in the sand and the rocks are great, Doug.  The tumbleweed is good addition as well.  The ripples in the sand stand out beautifully in the larger view.
