Willet with Breakfast

Owing to weather conditions and other matters I haven't been out on the beach in Gulfport much, but yesterday I found this one bird in a tidal pool.  Among other prey, small crabs are a favorite.  One or two of these wouldn't satisfy, but this guy had picked off several in a few short minutes while I watched.  When feeding the willet is constantly in motion, but I caught this one at rest.  I was about 8 feet above the water, so I set up the tripod full collapsed.

Really nice, Bill.  Excellent detail in the Willet and the crab and a nice bg.

A solid image as posted. With so little color in the willet and the water I wonder how this would look as a B&W?

A very natural looking scene Bill with great detail. The crab is very cool and adds a lot. Nice work!
