Predator at the Cemetery

This was taken in Mount Auburn cemetery in Cambridge MA. I thought the combination of symbols of wilderness and human society interesting. This was taken after sundown and it looked better as a monochrome.

Cheers,

Hisham.

I like the B&W conversion for this image Hisham. Though it looks a little flat to me. Maybe a slight contrast boost. I assume this is a hawk of some sort? Interesting perch!

I like your choice of the black and white conversion; it enhances the overall mood of the scene.  I would agree with the suggestion to play with the contrast, perhaps darken the background.  I also find the dark, serpentine line in the mid-left background a bit distracting.

It would have occurred to me to have this one in B&W, but I like the result quite a bit ! Indeed, some more contrast could enhance the image even further, but nice as posted already ! Best, Hans

Very cool, Hisham.  I like the combination and the monochrome presentation does work very well.  The textures in the old cross are wonderful.

Black and white was a great choice for this image.
