Eagle Strut

I liked the attitude this juvenile Eagle had as it strutted across the ice. Cloned out a small amount of debris that was on the ice. 90% FF.

Thanks for looking, comments & suggestions are always appreciated!

Interesting image.  Good detail in the larger version.  I like mid-stride pose and the head turn.  Perhaps a little selective shadow adjustment in PS?

I like the stride and the look. Is this a Golden Eagle? Doesn't look like a juvenile bald.

Hi Jerry, I'm pretty sure it's a Juvie bald. Probably first or second year. It was with other bald Eagles and I don't know that we have Golden's around here. I've never seen one. I have one more image to post of this bird. This was taken at a harbor just off the Mississippi river.

Really fun strutting pose of this guy, Steve.  My Sibley's shows this as a juvenile baldy.  I like the slightly lifted foot.

Nice pose, catching the eagle in mid-stride and with that intent look.

This is great, Steve.  Definitely means business.  I like the clean and simple view of such a powerful bird. devil

Very nice detail although I do note the smaller image appears to be a little brighter  and more saturated than the larger image.  The clarity is superb.  What attitude!

Love the attitude Eagles have, I think it is that stern looking "Eyebrowish" bump above their eye.

Nice catch!
Agree that a shadow adjustment would bring out the detail in the lower parts of the eagle.
You could also brighten up that dark foot a bit.
