Well balanced with the land forms on each side, like book ends. The wave action adds some nice movement to the otherwise calm feel to the image. I like how you achieved the color separation in the clouds. Constraint in your saturation, think you could actually increase it a bit in the sky without over doing it. How often can we say that these days!! Beauty of a view.

I love the cotton candy foreground, brings me right in.
I agree with Harry on amping the color up a bit.

I really like how you captured the motion in the water here. Nice image.

Beautifully done, Craig. Love the sky, and the wave action makes the image for me. I regret that it's cut-off at the bottom. Small nit on a great image.

Craig,
I gotta say that this is an expertly processed image. Getting this with just two images is amazing (and proves we don't need a 12-image HDR combo for scenes like this to work.) This seascape image is fabulous. I absolutely love the feathery water treatment in the landing surf; the rest of the image, that upper 1/4-1/3 is just wonderful. The light is exquisite.
If I had one wish, it would be for the completion of the bottom edge of the incoming wave. Not a huge deal, but would surely elevate this a notch. As presented, who can complain, this is a winner of an image. Excellent work.

Thanks for the comments. Gary and Lon, I too wish it wasn't cut off on the bottom. Unfortunately, on this day, I left my remote shutter release at home and had to use the 2-second timer, so I had to guess ahead of time when to trigger the shutter. Always remember your cable release! I will take a look at upping the saturation a bit.

Beautiful image, Craig. The foreground wave action is terrific, as is the dramatic sky. Agree about the cropped bottom, but still excellent.

Craig, This is a beautifully photographed scene. I just love the look and feel of this image and your processing is impressive to me. Great job with the exposure blend and the foreground water looks wonderful as does the touch of light on the rocks. The sky and clouds are fantastic as well. Beautiful.

This is very nicely done. I love the misty water and and the wonderful sky. The saturation looks natural to me, but it would be interesting to see it punched up just a bit.

Beautiful capture, Craig. Good timing with the wave - it creates I nice lead-in into the frame. Agree that it would have been better to catch the tip of the incoming wave but not an image-breaker

The blend looks good, Craig and I like the combination of emphasis on the foreground wave break and the color in the distant sky. I do think the the sky on the right could be burned in a bit, especially just above the ridge. I think the colors look good, there's a fine gentle "I am here" on a lovely (but not crazy spectacular) evening.
